Pregnancy isn't always easy. The extra emotions, fatigue, morning sickness, and difficulty to find a comfortable position to sleep. However just knowing your baby is growing inside of you is one of the most rewarding experience a woman can enjoy. Love at First Peek is here to make your pregnancy a more relaxing experience by allowing women to bond and take a peek of their baby through a non-medical ultrasound. We are a comfy and relaxing atmosphere and our team is devoted to making your ultrasound experience unforgettable and different from your regular prenatal care visits. Planning Your Visit
You can book as early as 6 weeks for a verification of pregnancy. Each trimester will allow for a different 3D/4D/HD view. However before 20 weeks baby's facial features are not yet well developed and may be seen very small and skeletal. For best facial feature images it is best to schedule your ultrasound between 27 to 32 weeks. Keep in mind that waiting past 35 weeks will reduce the clarity of the pictures because baby has less room in the womb as they get bigger. We highly recommend to schedule an appointment online or with one of our receptionist over the phone.
Stay Hydrated
The key to better quality images and pregnancy is staying hydrated.
Make sure to drink plenty of water 4 to 5 days leading up to your appointment. This will help the amniotic fluid levels be optimal for better 2D/3D/4D/HD ultrasound images. It is very important you drink your water prior to your appointment and the day of your appointment.

Gender Check
At Love at First Peek we begin to do our gender checks as soon as 14 weeks. Please make sure to drink water 30 minutes prior to your appointment so your bladder is full. It is best to maintain a full bladder until your sonographer ask you to. This is incase your baby is in a bad position emptying the bladder can possibly cause your baby to move in a different position.
Arrival
Please make sure to arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow you to fill out any paperwork that is needed.

It is recommended to drink or eat something sweet prior to your appointment to wake your baby up so he/she is ready for the camera at the time of your appointment.
